NWLC APPLAUDS HOLDER CONFIRMATION
(Washington, DC) Marcia D. Greenberger, Co-President of the National Women's Law Center, applauds the confirmation of Eric Holder for U.S. Attorney General.
Her statement follows:
“The National Women’s Law Center commends the Senate for its confirmation of Eric Holder for Attorney General of the United States.
“For eight long years, the Department of Justice either led the attack on core legal rights of women or too often ignored their enforcement altogether. We believe that under Mr. Holder’s leadership the Department will once more prioritize the enforcement of vital rights and legal protections so important to all Americans, and most especially to women.
“There is much work to be done. We look forward to standing alongside Mr. Holder as he begins the urgent work of revitalizing and restoring the Department of Justice.”
