Lawmakers compete in giant Chutes and Ladders game

Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) was one of several lawmakers — including Reps. George Miller (D-Calif.), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), and Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) — joining kids in an oversized game of Chutes and Ladders on Wednesday morning outside the Capitol. The jumbo 40-foot version of the classic children’s board game was hosted by the National Women’s Law Center, the Strong Start Campaign for Children, and MomsRising.org to stress the importance of early childhood education.
