MICHELLE BERLIN, M.D., ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY,OREGON HEALTH & SCIENCE UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR WOMEN'S HEALTH

The most striking finding of this report is that so many women are still smoking. Despite some of the strongest medical evidence known about the adverse health effects of smoking, such as lung cancer, more than 20 percent of U.S. women still smoke.
