NWLC Urges Senate to Take No Action on Cook and Roberts Nominations Without Further Consideration

(Washington, D.C.) The National Women's Law Center urges the Senate to take no action on the nominations of Deborah Cook to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and John Roberts to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit unless and until these nominations are given adequate consideration by the Senate Judiciary Committee in accordance with its normal processes. On the inadequate record that exists under the expedited procedures the Committee applied to these nominations, Justice Cook and Mr.
