Republican leaders say they were sent to Congress to reduce the deficit and create jobs, but instead they're making women's lives more difficult and dangerous by attacking women's access to health care services.  Join the National Women's Law Center and other women’s health organizations as we rally to protect women’s health on Thursday, April 7 on the National Mall at 11:30 am.

We've told you before how House leadership has proposed a series of bills that would allow hospitals to deny treatment to women in need of emergency abortion care, even if they would die without it; raise taxes on individuals and small businesses with health plans that cover abortion; and put forth a fiscal plan that balances the budget on the backs of women and their families, including  by eliminating all federal funding for Title X, the family planning program, and for all Planned Parenthood health centers.
