Stop the Attack on Women's Choice in Florida

The anti-choice legislators are playing politics with women’s health, yet again. A newly passed bill ― HB 1143 ― will have a devastating effect on women’s access to health care in Florida unless Governor Crist stops it.

If you live in Florida, tell Governor Crist to veto HB 1143 and stop the Florida state legislature from playing politics with women’s health.

The Florida state legislature recently passed a harmful bill that would force a woman seeking an abortion to undergo an ultrasound, even when medically unnecessary, and to listen to a description of the fetus. Also, HB 1143 would significantly restrict women’s ability to purchase comprehensive health coverage by prohibiting certain private plans from covering abortion.

Governor Crist can stop the Florida state legislature from playing political games with women’s health now ― if you live in Florida, tell him to veto HB 1143 and stop the anti-choice politicians today.
