Tis the Season: Give Thanks for Nancy Pelosi's Leadership on Child Care

It requires commitment and leadership to get things done in Washington, particularly now when there is so much gridlock.

That's why we took heart when we saw House Minority Leader and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi speaking out about the importance of child care and promising to put it on the top of the national agenda. Will you join us in thanking her for her leadership?

In today's Washington Post, Leader Pelosi is quoted saying, "One of the great pieces of unfinished business is high-quality child care; I wonder why we just can't do that." And that's not all! She went on to say that child care is the "missing link" to boost the economy by "unleashing women"!
We are so grateful to Representative Pelosi for her leadership, so let's show our gratitude by saying thank you.

It's not every day that we see a national leader coming out with such wholehearted support for the issues that matter so much to women and families. So, as you make your other preparations for the Thanksgiving holiday, take a minute to say "thank you" to Representative Pelosi. Sign the letter of thanks today, and we'll make sure Representative Pelosi gets your message of appreciation!

Leader Pelosi really imparts

Leader Pelosi really imparts an inspirational message to the woman, I also listen to her speech in the public and it was really an honor to see and able to be a part of her speech and event regarding the paper discovery for women.

National Child Care Legislation

Sorry to disappoint, but I am against any of this legislation. One of the main reasons we are in this financial mess is because of the Government creating all kinds of expensive regulations for businesses. If you are unhappy with the care your child is receiving find a better place, one of the 2 parents stay home and care for your child or open a day care center yourself. We do not need the Government sticking it's nose into anything else. Like everything the Government touches, it will mess this up also.
