President Bush just vetoed an appropriations bill that included increased funding for Head Start, child care, after-school programs, the Title X family planning program, low-income energy assistance, and other vital services for women and families.

Making the Grade on Women’s Health

Today, NWLC released Making the Grade on Women’s Health: A National and State-by-State Report Card 2007. The Report Card is designed to promote the health and well-being of women in the United States by providing a comprehensive assessment of women’s health, both nationally and state-by-state.
