Reform Matters Conference Call Series
Every day, it seems we hear about another sad story that demonstrates the extent of the health care crisis in this country. As the battle for comprehensive, affordable, quality health care wages on, women have much at stake. We hope that reforms are implemented soon at the national level - but right now, the front lines of this battle are in states and local communities.
While working to provide technical assistance to women's advocates fighting for health reform in their states and communities, we realized that this dialogue with advocates presented a broader opportunity to share and learn from one another's struggles and successes in achieving progressive health reform. To facilitate that conversation, NWLC is hosting a national monthly call series for women's advocates to discuss their collective efforts in the movement for comprehensive, affordable health care.
Are you a front-line fighter for health care reform?
E-mail NWLC to sign up for our next call.
Calls are held on the second Thursday of each month at 1:00pm Eastern. Each call will feature one or two presentations on current health reform battles by advocates on the ground and then address a specific question that has arisen as NWLC has worked to provide technical assistance in the states.
