Dollars and Sense: Improving the Determination of Child Support Obligations for Low-Income Mothers, Fathers and Children
June 09, 2002
Dollars and Sense is the second report from the Common Ground Project, a unique collaboration between the National Women's Law Center and the Center on Fathers, Families and Public Policy. This report presents several policy recommendations designed to improve the way child support awards for low-income families are set and adjusted, and the way arrearages are handled, to increase the ability of low-income parents to support their children and themselves.
