3:00 pm Eastern
1. Welcome & Introductions
Introduction

2. State Choices in Implementing Reform Post Supreme Court
Now that the Supreme Court decision is behind us, we need to move implementation forward in the States. We will talk about the important choices States have in expanding access to coverage: Is the Medicaid expansion now optional? What choices do States face related to Medicaid expansion following the decision? What is the difference between a state, federal or partnership exchange? How can we advocate for States to choose options that will provide the most access to care for women and their families?
- Karen Davenport, Director of Health Policy at the National Women’s Law Center
- Dania Palanker, Senior Health Policy Advisor at the National Women’s Law Center
- Sara Eskrich, Health Care Reform Project Coordinator at Wisconsin Alliance for Women's Health (tentative)
3. Preparation for August 1 and Women’s Preventive Health Services
On August 1, new health plans will begin providing women’s preventive health services with no cost sharing. This is an extremely important moment for women’s health and implementation of the health care law. We will provide a brief overview of these important services and the start of this new benefit.
- Dania Palanker, Senior Health Policy Advisor at the National Women’s Law Center
