Letters in Support of Extending Emergency Unemployment Insurance

The National Women's Law Center sent letters to Representatives Sander Levin (D-MI) and Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) and Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), sponsors of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation Extension Act (H.R. 3346/S. 1804). This urgently needed legislation will protect millions of jobless workers and their families from losing the lifeline that federal unemployment insurance benefits provide in this continuing jobs crisis.
