Attacks on Diversity & Inclusion

Extremists are attacking diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, also known as DEI, and are using anti-DEI hysteria to undermine core civil rights protections. They seek to close doors to opportunities and make our workplaces, schools, and society less fair.

Women, and especially women of color, are the targets of this Project 2025-backed effort. In reality, institutions that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion do so in order to remove arbitrary barriers to success, create cultures of respect, and help ensure that women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, and people with disabilities don’t experience harassment or discrimination at work and at school. These efforts make it easier for everyone to have a chance to thrive.
